12 lead reveals a SAL pt. went straight to cath lab pt. did well

I\'m a cardiology fellow and have seen it quite extensively.  Most commonly as has been quoted in various forms in the literature are elderly female diabetic patients.  I have seen presentations including right sided chest pain, radiation down the right arm, back pain, but by far the most common presentation that goes unnoticed or ignored is severe GERD type symptoms, especially in a diabetic.

Very interesting. I am curious if there is a correlation between where the occlusion occurs and the type of chest pain the pt presents with during an AMI. (inferior/anterior/right side/posterior)
